PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Wednesday will be another sunny day as temperatures warm up slightly with highs near the 70 degree mark. Wednesday night temperatures will fall into the lower 40s again under mostly clear skies.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 70s Thursday and then possibly even into the lower 80s for some of southern Wisconsin Friday. However, temperatures will quickly fall back into the 60s Saturday and then by Sunday afternoon temperatures will only be near the 60 degree mark, some may not even reach that. Temperatures will be below average heading into early to midweek next week, in the 50s, but then we will warm back up following that into the 60s. Southern Wisconsin stays mostly dry with just a few rain chances Frday through Sunday. The combination of low humidity, increasing dry fuels levels, and slim rain chances are increasing the fire danger across southern Wisconsin.
